Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

The Lighted Lantern

I don't know who the artist is (I can't quite read the inscription on the plaque in this photo), but I do know that the name of this artwork is The Lighted Lantern. Clearly it depicts a moment from the pioneer days of the American West. You can find it on South Tejon just below Colorado, across the street from the Plaza of the Rockies. And yes, the lantern does indeed light up.
