There's a Reason Why It's Called Memorial Park


Because it has a bunch of memorials in it, silly! For better or worse, Colorado Springs is a military town and Memorial Park is chock full of really cool monuments in honor of our service members. This one's the biggie, but it's surrounded by several smaller ones. I'll post more tomorrow.

That is impressive!

We have no shortage of memorials and monuments here, and a couple of our parks are known for military memorials.
