Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Yesterday before the Superbowl I had a couple of errands to run, and it was a gorgeous day so I brought a camera along. In my wanderings I ended up in the Old North End, driving through my favorite neighborhood. This beauty made as good a subject as any! According to my handy dandy copy of Exploring the Old North End Neighborhood of Colorado Springs, 1738 North Wood Avenue was built in 1906 by Robert P. Davie and his wife Martha. Mr. Davie was president of the Davie Realty Company and the Davie Building and Investment Company. This is just one of many gorgeous, historic old homes on Wood Avenue, the street where I plan to live just as soon as I win the lottery. 😉
