I've noticed that these signs have been strategically planted around the perimeter of downtown lately. I think they're kind of silly -- surely you can tell when you're downtown in just about any city! I suppose they must be part of the general sprucing up that's been going on the last couple of years. The construction of the Olympic Museum is nearly finished, and (in a perfect world, anyway) the powers that be expect a larger amount of tourists downtown because of it.

Welcome to Downtown
I've noticed that these signs have been strategically planted around the perimeter of downtown lately. They make a good photo subject.
In and of itself, it is not a bad sign, but might have cost a pretty penny to tell people what they already knew. Still, it's not a bad sign. I guess.
