May 2020 Theme Day: Shopping!


It's Theme Day, the first of the month! The subject for City Daily Photo bloggers this time around is shopping. I know that these photos are a bit "on the nose" as they say in Hollywood, but I can't tell you how happy I was to see people out and about and SHOPPING on our downtown streets today. Woo hoo! Just like everywhere else, we've been on Coronavirus lockdown, but our Governor Polis allowed non-essential small businesses to reopen as of today! As you can see, these shoppers (at least most of them) were conscientiously equipped with scarves or face masks, which was great. I'm sure it will be a long time before we get back to normal as a society, but little things like shopping on Tejon Street again sure make me feel hopeful.

I'm anxious for more stores to open up for SHOPPING again! Maybe more so tomorrow with our next stage allowed by our governor of Minnesota.
