I took this photo at Boonzaijer's on December 1st, when I was there to pick up a photogenic treat for Theme Day. If you're Dutch or German this place is a good stop for you around Christmastime, because they have all the European goodies you miss from your homeland, including festive marzipan. I can't say I'm a fan of the stuff but I've never met a Dutch person who didn't adore it.

The chocolate letters over at the right are definitely a Dutch tradition.
