Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

All of the Above

The highest point of Palmer Park puts you above most of the city, and from there you can enjoy a 360° view. This is looking more or less northeast. If you look past the rock formation, in the background you can see nothing but city for miles.

Quite a view.

So Colorado Springs is on a plateau and the big mountains are westerly.
Well, somehow that's not a surprise when I think of it. But I didn't know it was so far above the plains to the east. Nice photo!

Judith, yes, exactly! It's mountains to the west and flat as a pancake to the east.
