Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Charles Tutt Library (Part 1)

A look at the new-ish library at Colorado College. It's actually just a remodel of the old library, which had been straight up late mid-century, blockish Brutalism. You can still see vestiges of the old building if you walk around it. I do like the earthy orange cladding. It's rather reminiscent of terracotta and looks nice against the blue sky.

Looks good to me.

The additions appear to have offset the Brutalist style well.
