Today was gorgeous and sunny, and I was barely able to find a parking spot at the entrance to Cheyenne Canon because so many people were taking advantage of the mild weather. I was there with Frodo (our dog) just to get a picture of the rushing creek because I figured it'd be pretty with snow around it, but I got a bonus when this couple walked past on their way to the hiking trail. Why hike in leggings when you can wear a cute sundress, especially when winter unexpectedly grants you a 24 hour reprieve from the cold?
I've been absent from the blog for a couple of days because I had oral surgery on Friday and it didn't go so well, so needless to say I've been grumpy and in pain ever since! Things are starting to feel better and I'm sure I'll be back to my old self in a day or two.
