I noticed this striking young woman at Poor Richard's last Saturday while I was having lunch with my friend JB. Of course that awesome little crocheted top caught my eye, so I asked for a picture. Her name is Dannae, and it turns out she made it herself. I'm impressed! It looks great on her. I also like her multicolored Easter-themed manicure. (I had every intention of posting these pictures last Sunday -- Easter -- but I was too exhausted from doing heavy yard work to do a blog post).
Unrelated side note: see that guy behind her in the picture below? That's Dannae's partner, and after a minute or two of small talk we realized that I had taken his baby pictures many years ago! He was a cute little dude back then, and now he's a father himself. He and Dannae have a gorgeous baby girl. Isn't that fun?

Ha. One of the joys of aging. I don't think of you as being old enough to have taken his baby photos, but apparently you were!!
