Another image from Cheyenne Cañon the other night. After I finished photographing the falls, we turned to leave and found a hummingbird having a little snack. It's odd to see one eating while perched. The only time I've ever seen a hummingbird (eating or not), it's been in perpetual flight. Naturally this one flitted off almost immediately, I was lucky to get even one picture of it.

I've seen it a lot. They probably get thirstier in Texas. And sit and rest while they refuel.
