Sunday Style!

Cute couple! And a very cute story behind today's Sunday Style picture, too. I had gone to the overlook on Christmas Eve, thinking I could get a nice photo of the view since we'd had some snow (you can see that picture HERE). This well dressed couple emerged from their car as I was about to start snapping away, so I stopped what I was doing and asked them for a photo. They posed nicely for me then we stood around a chatted for a minute, and as I was about to wish them well and excuse myself, he asked me if I could take one more photo of them. Naturally I agreed, and he suddenly dropped to one knee and proposed to her! I was completely unprepared and had no time to react other than to instinctively press the shutter button (note the signage on the left in the first shot below; I couldn't really  move to the right for fear of missing her facial expression, and I couldn't zoom in because I wanted to include his traditional bended knee pose). It was all very sweet, of course she said yes, and they lived happily ever after. What a great moment! Lucky me for getting to be a small part of it!
