Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Sunday Style!

They say fashion runs in cycles, and I've noticed it tends to be a 20 year thing. Cast your mind back to the early 2000s, and voilĂ ! Clear plastic shoes! I still have a pair, I think, from that time I had to be a bridesmaid in my cousin's wedding in January of 2005. I was also the photographer. I do not recommend doing double duty as a bridesmaid and photographer, it's a bit much. Especially in shoes like this.

In a word, they look uncomfortable.

Yes! Unless the plastic is very very soft. Is it? Doesn't sound like it was.

@JudithK as I remember, mine were fairly soft and they weren't uncomfortable, just not ideal footwear for shooting a wedding. Ha. I should unearth them and put them on E-Bay, you just know someone will think they're the height of fashion and buy them.

Yes, well they are the height of fashion, and at least yours will be remotely comfortable. Do it! And vintage might add value. Oh well, what do I know about fashion.
