Alas and alack, the Broncos lost the championship playoff game to the Patriots on Sunday, so our Superbowl hopes have been dashed. (I know this is probably only interesting to a few of my readers. Ha!) The game was played in Denver, and as you can see, the weather wasn't terribly cooperative -- so much so that they had to use a snow blower on the field so that the lines would be visible! Also, our superstar quarterback was sidelined with a fractured ankle, so the backup quarterback was called upon to play in this high pressure situation. He gave it a mighty effort and we only lost by three points. Even though we were a little disappointed in the outcome, this has been an amazing winning football season and a big thrill for us fans! Can't wait for next year!
