I'm Back!

Hello readers, I'm back from my adventures in SoCal and I'm finally able to share a few of the things we saw and did in Vegas, including my birthday present to Pat: five laps around a racetrack in a Ferrari. There's a track just outside the city where you can drive any number of incredible supercars: Porsche, Maserati, Lamborghini, McLaren, Aston Martin, Lotus, Ferrari. My brother advised me that the 819 horsepower Ferrari 296 GTB was going to be the fastest on the straightaways, so that's what I chose. Pat had a blast! He talked about it for days afterward. Above you see a shot of some of the Ferraris on offer. Directly below is the 296 GTB (beautiful!), and the bottom shot is Pat in action behind the wheel. It looks a little blurry because my Leica couldn't track him -- he was going over 140 miles per hour!
