Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Independence Pass (Part 1)

Last Wednesday, Pat and I (plus our dog Frodo) headed for the mountains for some stress relief. The destination was Independence Pass, about 130 miles away. It's such a beautiful area -- especially in autumn. The town of Aspen is a few miles beyond the other side of the pass but this time we decided not to go quite that far. On the pass, there are many great spots where you can pull over and admire the breathtaking vistas. Here are some variations of the same gorgeous view. I imagine that when people think of Colorado, this is what they see in their mind's eye. I love living here.

More tomorrow!

It looks like a great stress release place! You've got to return well rested and feeling on top of the world.
