This immaculate example of Mid-Century Modern architecture can be found on the corner of Kiowa and Logan, a few blocks east of the Deaf and Blind School. This photo was really just a location scouting shot from several days ago. I did a photo shoot in front of this building a couple of days later, involving a 1956 Chevy and a girl styled in 1950s fashions. It was fun, and this was the perfect backdrop.

Colorful abode
I don't know if its occupants are happy, but the outside of this house on High Street sure is! A little internet sleuthing tells me that it was built in 1895. This pocket-sized neighborhood is called Deaf and Blind because of its proximity to the Colorado School for the Deaf and Blind, just a block or so from this colorful abode.
