Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

St. Patrick's Day

Yesterday morning was the St. Patrick's Day parade down Tejon Street, even though the real holiday isn't until Wednesday. Of course I overslept and missed the entire thing. I did manage to catch some of the revelry later on though, as I dropped a friend off downtown. Lots of happy people indulging in beer and spirits at 3:00 in the afternoon! There was also this guy, Ryan, piping in front of Old Chicago. He sounded great, and I thought he looked very natty in his kilt. He was nice enough to pose for a few pictures for me. Thanks Ryan!

Your community seems very diverse. From bagpipes to roller derby, something for everybody.

I think he looks great too. I'd love to hear bagpipes in person one of these days.
