Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!
Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

fascinating -- thanks for sharing the second verse! somewhat refreshing, at least, for an otherwise quite patriotic song to admit that we have flaws! i always liked the idea of America the Beautiful as our national anthem instead of the Star Spangled Banner. much easier to sing and it's about the actual country, rather than about a symbol.
That sure is a great looking plaque. Would love to see such things for myself. I never really did know the 2nd verse to our song, either. Thanks for the information. This patriotic song should remain as it is and should never be messed with. I can remember singing our National Anthem while in Grade School back in the 50's, and reciting the Pledge every day before school started. In my personal opinion, this is the way it should be.
