This photo was taken just around the corner from yesterday's, in Denver. I've noticed this groovy mid-century neon sign many times by night, but have always driven right past it during the day without even looking, until I snapped this picture through the windshield of Pat's truck. For some reason I love it by day, when you can see all the weathering and patina from the years of harsh Colorado weather. I also love how the Las Delicias sign was added beneath it, obviously years later (it looks very '90s to me, judging by the font), and how the two signs really do not match at all. Do you think there will come a time when we consider the Las Delicias sign a classic? Nah. I don't think so.

I love the Riviera sign, but the bottom sign, no.
I can appreciate the second one...it is what is is, but I really like the character of the Riviera sign..
That's an awesome sign. I would look great lit up.
