Skywatch Friday
The last couple of days have been bitterly cold. Yesterday's high temperature was only 2° F (-17° C). We've also gotten plenty of snow to go with the cold. I was too wimpy to get out of my car in search of a Skywatch Friday picture, so I shot this from the comfort of my driver's seat as I sat waiting for the traffic light at Kiowa and Nevada. This large sculpture is in the newly constructed median in the middle of Nevada Avenue. In the background is First Presbyterian Church.

Like the colors here of course also on conto of the artist who thought about the colored stakes. Nice one.
Beautifull colors!
That looks so nice and colourful! :)
It's an unusual sculpture, but it contrasts nicely with the church beyond.
You live in a very cold part of the world on most days. However, it is also one of the prettiest states around. I have enjoyed every visit I made there.
Its a cold colour
Great looking sculpture. Stay warm.
