A familiar face
The Indian head on the southwest corner of the Cheyenne Building, which houses the Phantom Canyon Brewing Company. Pat and I went by there for brunch last Sunday. We used to eat brunch at Phantom Canyon often, but at some point we moved on to other restaurants for our Sunday ritual (although we still go there for dinner quite a lot). We decided to give it another try after many years, and we're glad we did. It was fantastic! As it turns out, Phantom Canyon had actually stopped serving Sunday brunch some time ago, and have only recently reintroduced it, to coincide with their brand new remodel. This worked out in our favor, because the Sunday morning crowd hasn't rediscovered Phantom Canyon yet, and there was no wait for a table. Hooray!
The Cheyenne Building is one of my favorite historic edifices in town, not least because of its stern-faced Indian head decoration. If you'd like to know more about it (and see a picture of it from a century ago), check out THIS post from January of last year.

Beautifull shot !
Tomás.
I like the design of the sign, and that carving looks stoic.
That is awesome.
