Today's post features my friend Molly. I first photographed her in 1992, when she began accumulating tattoos. She moved away not long after that and I haven't seen her in person since (although we have maintained our friendship over the years, thanks to Facebook). I can't show you the images I made of her in 1992, since they are nudes. She has many, many more tattoos now than she had then, and she is even more beautiful and interesting of a person! I love how age and experience add so much to the equation! I finally got to see Molly again last week, after some 23 years had passed, and though I was tempted to ask her to pose for me in the studio as a bookend to those fine art nudes I made of her long ago, I contented myself with taking a photo of her beautiful hands.
