Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

The 2016 Denver Modernism Show

As promised in yesterday's post, here are a few pictures of some of the interesting things (and people!) we saw at the Denver Modernism Show a couple of weekends ago. This event is organized and presented annually by my friend Dana, who is a genius in more ways than one. If you've never been, you should definitely try and make it next year. It's a ton of fun!

We saw some great examples of Danish Modern, including this table and chairs.
I'm a big fan of vintage Formica tables, like this one, which looks very much like the one we own (ours has cooler legs though!).
I like these chairs! They're probably not actually vintage, but inspired by Mid-Century design.
This fantastic ensemble was created by Monica Veronica Designs.
A 1961 Studebaker Lark VI. There were only 15,891 built of this automobile. Its owner told me that his grandmother bought it in 1961, and eventually it was handed down to him and he's had it ever since. He's put some love and money into keeping it in such beautiful condition over many years.
Last but not least, a gorgeous 1948 Chrysler New Yorker. The owner bought it in 1958 and it was the second car he ever purchased.

Nice shots. Classic cars and great furniture, pretty impressive!

Quite a lot of throwbacks here. The VW Bug reminds me of one I've seen in pics from my parents- almost the same shade, too.

That Beetle is really nice, William. I love old Volkswagens!
