Once a month I do a "treat yo'self" day. I go to Thrive and get a therapeutic massage and a back and neck adjustment, then home for a relaxing, hot shower, followed by doing as little as possible for the rest of the day and evening. Being purposely unproductive for a whole day is surprisingly difficult, but self care is important. As a wise friend once told me when I was sick in bed, "Ain't no one gonna take care of you but YOU." Truer words were never spoken. This is my roundabout way of explaining why I have no current picture for you today! I didn't even go near a camera, thankyouverymuch, and there was much procrastinating before I finally got my butt off the couch to find this picture in my archives and type up this post for you. 😉
This photo was taken from the High Point of the Garden of the Gods last November 15th. I was there to grab a shot for the blog's tenth anniversary post, but an even better photo opportunity presented itself -- read that blog post HERE, and look closely to see why that picture is better than the one you see here. This poor "reject" has been sitting on my hard drive since then, waiting to be used.
I hope you had a good Monday! I sure did!
