Summer Pastimes


The South Platte River near Deckers is chilly! Trust me when I say that. I took this picture after I had been standing barefoot in the water for several minutes, and I could barely feel my toes. Even though this was a fairly hot day, I don't know if I'd want to go tubing like these hardy folks. My butt might freeze off!😉

Oh Tamara, are you getting old? I'm laughing here. You know I"m old enough to be your granny. I can't imagine tubing in a cold river. Or even wading.
