Pat and I hit up Prospect Lake on the evening of August 16th in hopes of getting a good sunset photo. With all the wildfires in Colorado these last couple of weeks, the only real upside has been the dramatic skies as the sun dips behind the mountains each night. Unfortunately this night the sunset was a dud (I guess it was too hazy), but the light was very dramatic anyway and I got some nice pictures of the geese and ducks doing their thing.

Maybe not dramatic, but very peaceful and restful....that's worth something!
