Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Recharging

Life has been excessively stressful the last couple of months. Not to get into personal stuff, but I've had more life upsets since mid-December than I care to deal with in a normal year, let alone two short months. To make things worse, because of these stressors I haven't had much time to get out to the mountains. Finally, yesterday we managed to just get in the car, point it westward, and drive, drive, drive. We got as far as Guanella Pass before we had to turn around. The view was 1000% gorgeous the entire way, and we both felt a lot better by the time we got home. There's nothing like a meander through the mountains to recharge your batteries. Here are the Collegiate Peaks from just beyond the summit of Wilkerson Pass.

Very true, Tamara. Mountains are replenishing for the soul.

Glad you got a bit of refreshment from your troubles. Nothing like a long drive, even without a spectacular view or two along the way.....take care of yourself.
