Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

Sledding With a View

There a scenic pull over spot just on the other side of Hagerman Pass, which gives you the view I shared in yesterday's post. This shot is facing 180° in the other direction. The only other people there yesterday sharing the vista with us with were these three, who chose what must be one of the most scenic sledding hills in Colorado. Imagine cruising down this slope with the majestic, snow covered Collegiate Peaks right in front of you!

Ha. I'm remembering driving past them for the first time a long time...I was the navigator , and reading the map, said, oh, harvard, yale, columbia..and laughing. Stunning they were. Hard to imagine being so accustomed that sledding would be just as usual.....downhill snow and those mountains out there. Thanks for these photos.
