Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

More Proof that Canada Geese Are Evil

See how they're scaring the kids in this otherwise bucolic late winter scene at the pond in Green Mountain Falls? Okay, so maybe "scaring" is a bit of an overstatement. Startling, then. And okay, they were skirmishing with each other and not the children, I'll  give you that. But they're still evil, I tell you! Anyone who's ever been chased by a full grown goose can confirm.

Yes they have a bit of an attitude.

But how Canadian are they? The first hint of frost and they're flying south.

To be fair a lot of human Canadians do the same and flee to Florida from December to April.

Ha. Maybe we should just call them North American Geese.
A full grown domestic goose can be a problem for a person if it decides to go after you. Never having had an encounter with a wild goose, I can't comment on them, but I suspect a goose is a goose is a goose.
