Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

I had a few minutes to kill before a chiropractor appointment this morning, so I popped into Palmer Park and snapped off a few frames. It's pretty there this time of year. It's pretty there any time of year.

The red on that rock at the bottom is rather alarming. Though I think I do so a hint of the same color a bit higher up.

@JudithK some of the rocks here are very colorful! There's a big formation called the Paint Mines a little east of Colorado Springs. I believe the Utes literally use the pigments from those rocks for paint and/or dyes. You should google it!
