This photo was taken on March 12, 2020. Look at the bumper sticker in the middle. Things were at peak awful at that moment, remember? We thought all of the crap from 45's first term was going to permanently in our rearview mirror by now, and yet here we are again, and it's even worse than it was the first time, if that's even possible. And we were in the throes of a worldwide pandemic in 2020 that killed millions! Something has got to change, and soon. The US can't take much more of this shit.
Along with millions of other people around the country and world, I participated in the No Kings protest on Saturday. Colorado Springs had an absolutely enormous turnout, an estimated 10,000 to 12,000 people. It was huge, and it was a blast! I didn't bring a camera so I just used my phone to take these photos and videos. I hope you enjoy the funny signs, I know I did.
Here's one last shot, not taken by me: these people actually conducted their protest at 14,115 above sea level at the summit of Pikes Peak! Awesome!
Taken on the train in London last May. Cool boots! We were there for over a week and I took many style photos (along with pretty much everything else we saw), but I haven't blogged anything from that trip until today. I'll sit down and find a few more blog worthy shots for you sometime soon.
After finishing with a photo shoot shoot up north yesterday, I stopped in the parking lot at UCCS for the purposes of taking my camera bag out of my car and depositing it in the trunk, where it would be secure while I ran some errands. I was only there for a minute or two, just long enough to take this picture. I went to college at UCCS but it was so long ago I can't remember if this is Dwire Hall or the science building (I think it's the latter). I must be getting old.
We've had rain, rain, rain, rain daily and nightly for weeks now. So far we haven't even turned on our sprinklers for the year and yet the grass is emerald green. Our gardens (seen here: our front yard pollinator garden) are especially digging all the moisture, although I'm getting just a teeny bit tired of it myself. Hopefully it'll dry out and warm up in the coming days.
I think you know the answer to that question! This Ghostbusters themed van can usually be found parked outside the Auto Zone on Nevada and Fillmore. Love it.

This gaggle of Canada geese was actually 13 individuals long, 11 of them goslings, but I was only able to capture three and-a-half of them in a photo. (The "half" gosling is cropped out to fit my usual blog format.) Those goose babies are so cute! Too bad they grow up into evil devil birds. Ha.
