Welcome to Colorado Springs Daily Photo!

Hi, I'm Tamera, a professional wedding, portrait and boudoir photographer in Colorado Springs. But this blog isn't about my professional work; no, it's a daily love note to my beautiful city, where I've lived for most of my life. I love it here and I hope you enjoy seeing Colorado Springs through my eyes and lens!

St. Luke's Episcopal

This charming church, built in 1879, is only a block away from the building I featured in yesterday's post. I think it's great that Westcliffe still has most of its beautiful old frontier era buildings.

Est. 1887

This is the Wolff Hotel in Westcliffe, established 1887. I love old western buildings like this. I wish I could have explored more than just the outside of it, but I think it's a private residence (or two) now, and no longer a hotel.

The Wet Mountains

This is the view from Westcliffe. Stupendous, isn't it? Those peaks are known as the Wet Mountains, apparently because of the heavy amount of snow they get in winter. Just gorgeous.

August 12, 2012

An image from August 12, 2012. This was taken near Westcliffe, an especially beautiful part of Colorado. I was there doing family portraits for some clients who own a few acres there. Lucky them!

I'll be blogging photos from my archives all week. Scroll back through Sunday's post to see the ones I've already posted.
