If you follow this blog regularly, you know how much I love old cars! I go to a lot of car shows, but the one at Viva Las Vegas was probably the biggest one I've ever seen. With the exception of the "celebrity" cars (see THIS post from a couple of days ago), there were no vehicles newer than 1963 on display. I was particularly fascinated by the rat rods, which you don't normally see at car shows, and the little personalized details like pinstriping, custom stick shift knobs, hood ornaments, monograms, and the like. And all that gorgeous chrome! At the bottom of this post is a 60 second slideshow featuring our favorite photos from the event. We didn't get to see all of the cars because we ran out of time (and because I have black hair, and hot sun with black hair can get a little uncomfortable after a while so I needed a break). But what we did see was pretty cool, so do take a minute to watch the slideshow. Enjoy!
