Just another snapshot of Pikes Peak and the Garden of the Gods, taken a little before 4:00pm today. Really, this view is so much better in the morning than in the afternoon. Look at this blog's header photo -- there's your proof. It's so old, it was taken on film! I remember that I was on a photography job that was over by mid-morning, so I drove to the overlook afterward for a quick snapshot, since there was snow on the Peak and the light was nice. I'm not usually out and about at that hour, but one of these days I'll get another pretty shot from this perspective with that same nice morning light.
